STUDIOS

ReZound Productions is a professional recording group originally based in the Chicagoland area, featuring the best of both vintage and modern production techniques. Recently we have branched out into Eastern North Carolina. Music remains our passion, and we focus on making a big sound in an intimate, comfortable setting.
  • Our recordings are all digital, however we use classic recording techniques to duplicate that warm, classic sound.

  • We have experience working with the top Digital Audio Workstations (DAW) in the industry: Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Cubase, & Ableton.

  • We work inside-the-box when doing studio work. So choose your DAW, and we can go from there.

  • For live shows, we run our clean mixes from the modern classic, the Behringer X32. We have multiple configurations to fit your needs.

  • We have an ever-growing collection of mics.

  • For our large diaphragm condensers, we have:

    • Aston Origin

    • Matched pair of the Rode NT1A

    • 2 pairs (4x) of the standard MXL 990

    • (Audio Technica) AT2020 USB mic for on-location broadcasting

  • Various pencil/shotgun instrument mics

  • We love toys like the rest of you. So we have a few different vintage amps and pre-amps for the guitars.

  • While the majority of people (including us) love the old-timey physical compressors, effects, and racks full of the usual outboard gear, that's all better suited for the traditional brick-and-mortar studio we talked about in a previous section. When the time comes for our team to settle down, build ourselves a home, and fill it with gear, we'll update this section again just for you.

  • Because the majority of our work is on location, we have an assortment of professional grade headphones and monitoring systems.

  • When mixing from our studios, we primarily use the KRK Rokit series of monitors. (In our opinion) they provide the most accurate representation of what the majority of music listeners experience on a day to day basis,

  • What DON'T we have? Orchestral strings (violin, cello, viola, double-bass). That's about it.

  • We pride ourselves in having an extensive collection of instruments ranging from a vintage coronet (1940s era) to one of the newest Martin touring acoustic guitars on the market.
